6 and 1.5!

Today our not so little Carter man is 18 months! Yes he is sporting a Randy Moss jersey! Straight Cash Homie!

Ryleigh on her new big girl bike. It took her all of 10 minutes to ride by herself. Who would have thunk it that this oh so clumsy girl could be a pro on the bike!

Think she's excited?!

Happy Birthday to Ryleigh!!

Look! I found an egg free cake and frosting recipe so Carter could eat with us. And it was yummy! Can you believe this is the first time I've made a cake for my kids birthday? Normally I just buy them, but this was much more fun, and Ryleigh helped make it!

It's nearly impossible...

to get a picture

of both of our kids

looking at the camera

at the same time.....

Unless of course, you hold the little
one down on a bale of hay and
take it......

Inhabitants of our house...

Our resident Linus....(this blanket has to go everywhere with us. His "batey" is a part of our daily outings and comfort).
And of course our resident crazy person!

Attack of the Geese

Carter LOVES to feed the ducks and geese and on any given day at Red Kane park in Arlington, Texas, these geese are ready to attack you if you wake them or do not have enough food for them. They are seriously the most aggressive beasts I have encountered at a park and unfortunatly, Carter man has no fear of them.

This one actually pecked at his "privates".

I had to literally snatch C Man up before these meanies were about to attack him!
Don't say you haven't been warned.....

Hi! I'm on the potty, reading my favorite potty book, "The Potty Train!"

Like my undies?!

Yes, we are potty training at the Smith house! We've been at it for about a month now and we do okay, or rather, pretty darn good for 17 months! Carter is going on the potty at least once a day and has done a number 2 a couple of times too. He is so proud of himself and of course loves to flush the potty and when's he's done he compliments me! yes me, "Good girl, mama" he says.

Says Who?

Who says you have to travel to go camping? Not us! So much easier in the comfort of our own backyard.

Oh Crap! My marshmallow's on fire!
Daddy and Ryleigh

These smores were sooooo yummy!

Another great memory with my family, and I got to go inside and sleep in my bed instead of the hard ground!

This is our weekly adventure and I love it. I adore the way the kids get sooooo excited to feed the horses on our way home from picking up Ryleigh from school. We get to drive by them every day and now that the weather has cooled down into the 80's, we can be outside with out getting a heat stroke.
Aren't they beautiful? Ryleigh would like to take riding lessons but her daddy says no cause the next thing she'll want is a horse......I think he's probably right.

No shame

Nope! No shame in my game! I ride a pink bike AND I do it in my backyard in my diaper, but how cute am I?!
